sory for the delaying in posting this! been incredibly busy since i came back from Shanghai. was there for 02 weeks for an exhibition for exxonmobil and sumitomo seika. veron was all alone during the 02 weeks i was away. so worried about her. THANK GOD that all was fine.went to see LC Cheng last friday 7 Oct. my dear wife put on another 02 kg since the last appt! hahahaha.... as usual, had to wait for about 30mins before he finally came down. saw our lil one once again! in a position facing us! hahaha... tired to zoom in to see if we could determine the sex, but then LC CHENG said the umblical cord and stuff are blocking the view, sigh, but then again, the very next appt will be the detailed scan, hopefully we can see if it will be rachael or ryan! veron was asked to do a blood test as well, she was freaking out prior to that, hahaha, never liked needles! next appt will be in a months time!we went to the nearby coffeeshop for lunch, being Friday, we had fishball noodles and it sucked big time, bland and simply bad. sent her home then went back to office.

our precious lil one is 12 weeks and 1 day old!!! just went to see LC Cheng on Friday, 9 sep! waited for 2 long hours before he finally came down from delivering a baby...the entire consultation was fast, probably only 10 minutes. when he did the abdominal scan, at the very first instant, our baby leapt!! hahahha so amazing! then while LC moved the scanner around, our baby's ahnds were moving as if waving to us! ahhahah...GOD is simply amazing!EDD changed again to 25 March. eveything is normal and baby is growing fine, THANK GOD for his continued guidance and protection! next visit will be in a months time. only had 2 shots of our precious lil one though...hahhaha...veron is feeling fine, only occasionally nauseous and ever so tired and hungry!!guess wat, i shaved bubblez yesterday cos veron was complaining that he is shedding fur and all over the house! kinda looked funny, but i guess he enjoyed it, cooler now in this humid weather! we bought him a black top as well, in case he's cold at night!

our lil precious one is 9 weeks and 2 days old as of today! last visit to LC Cheng has reconfirmed our EDD again! 26 march as of last friday! and baby was 8 weeks and 5 days old! hahaha....we got there at 12 sharp but waited till about 1235pm to see him. did the usual urine test and weight measurement. veron put on 200g from previous visit! hahaha...so the usual stuff, he asked us if there were anything we like to highlight or consult, nothing much except the constant lethargic-ness and ache at the bum. he adviced to take more rest just as your body informs you and to rest as and when needed! then we did the ultrasound again! ahhaha....when we saw the baby, i had the same feeling once again! nearly teared and all i could say was "COOL!!" when we saw our lil one and how big it was already. he showed us the head, legs and arms buds and of course he turned up the volume to hear the heartbeat and it was amazing!! he moved around to see if there was another baby somewhere! ahahha...but only one...so no twins this time! he measured our lil one and EDD changed to 26 march and measured 2.33cm! he printed the photos again for our keeps and told us to see him in 3 weeks. told him about mel and yufen and that we have referred them to come see him on monday. then we went to pay and paid the deposit for the package A. he asked us if we wanted to do the OSCAR test but i told him we are not for it. costs aside, we do not want to subject ourselves to unnecessary stress, we will leave everything to GOD and continue praying for the wellbeing of our baby. so the next appt is 3 weeks before i leave for Shanghai for 2 weeks. we went to vic's place for his bday party and met up with mel and yufen. he told us of the many beliefs and cant dos from his mum! some were pretty absurd! ahhaha...since we are catholics, we shouldnt believe in all this! we stayed till about 12 plus and left as veron was tired. mel said that by the time henry got married, he and I would have been dads already!!! hahahaha...that will be soooo exciting! then we will dress up our lil one and attend mr bengawan solo's wedding!

our lil precious one is 9 weeks old as of today!!!!!!!!!! yahooooo!!!!!!! 3weeks more to the end of the first trimester. veron is kinda lethargic at times daily but fine after a nap and some food! she eats like a cow now! hahahha...but i always reassure her that she looks great and more huggable! so looking forward to our 2nd gynae appt this friday when we can see our lil one and hear the heartbeat once again! melvin has changed his gynae to LC Cheng as well. seeing him next monday.

guess wat?! melvin and yufen are also expecting their first kid! their EDD is 24 march, only 2 days away from ours! they have seen Paul Tseng for the first appt but after mel heard that we are seeing LC Cheng, he wants to change! gave him the contact nos. and explained the package to him. kinda exciting since we are the first 2 of the brudders who got married ahead of the others! yufen has quite bad MS every morning. PRAISE THE LORD for blessing and looking after veron thus far! veron took MC yesterday as she wasnt feeling well, giddy and stuff. went for mass yesterday and i t was so crowded so she went upstairs while i went to park the car. during the course of the mass, incense was burnt and it kinda upsetted veron a bit and she felt kinda pukie. was so worried for her when i saw how pale her lips were. went downstairs after communion and bought a cup of 100plus for her and she felt better.Friday is only 3 days away!!

both of us are anxious about the next checkup where we can once again see our lil precious one and hear the heartbeat once again. veron has been eating lots and really dreads eating the vitamin supplements! hehehe...make it a point to cut her small pieces of an apple and a kiwi cos she dun really eat veggies anyway. i'm made to clean tubby's litterbox everyday when i wake up, when we come home and before we sleep! kinda disgusted each time i do that! its amazing how much a cat can poo in a nite!!!same routine for me daily. check the forums that we are involved in, participate and absorb much appreciated pointers. veron seems to be aching daily, so just have to massage her before she sleeps. went to suntec over the weekend and visit most of the maternity shops there as well as those in paragon. lotsa cute lil things to buy, better save up now! all we have to do now is continue to pray for a safe and smooth pregnancy and the delivery of a normal and healthy catholic baby! we are always thankful for this GOD bestowed baby so that we can start our catholic family soon! 1 week and 1 day more to our 2nd checkup!!

my mum gave me numerous mags for us to read up! hahaha...guess she must be super excited!! such a young grandma! my dad was simply overwhelmed when he heard the news and said, u beter take care of veron huh, dun anyhow eat and beter rest more, hehehhe....so smiling non stop eversince......my mum also passed me the baby names book....kinda early but its always good to have a headstart!

My FIRST gynae visit!! 1 aug 2005 (the same day we took our wedding photos a yr ago!)went to see Dr LC Cheng from TMC and it was truly an exhilarating experience! we waited only 30mins before we went in! he was very patient with our multitude of qns (being totally inexperienced parents-to-be) the ultrasound scan is simply out of this world! at the sight of my baby's heartbeat, i nearly shed a tear! he printed 03 copies of the pics he took and measured the baby to be only 6.9mm and the EDD is 22 march 2006. he said the EDD will change until bout 5 months or so when it will be more or less confirmed. simply couldnt take my eyes off the heartbeat of my precious lil one! after that, we went to arrnage for the next appt. paid S$183 for consultation 100, blood test 10, urine test 10, ultrascan 60 and watever misc. realise others paid only about 168 or so. anyway...it's totally worthed it!!

forgot to include for the following day after we found out about the pregnancy, i registered with www.babycentre.co.uk as adviced by pauline that it was a fantastic site and it actually tracks your pregnancy and advices u accordingly. simply superb website! will as and when cut and paste the contents to veron so that she can follow up accrdingly.

veron made an appt with Dr Phyllis Liauw form TLC of TMC as pauline had her as her gynae for both ian and chrissy. but after much research and hearsay from the web and friends/relatives. i decided to check out Dr LC Cheng from WC Cheng and associates. found that the rates for LC CHeng quite competitive, only relatively higher than others. but since he is renowned and truly the "Louis Vuitton" of gynaes, i called to enquire an available slot for us.when i called veron, she kinda flipped as she had already made any appt with Phyllis Liauw. but after much persuasion and after checking with her colleague, Caroline, she relented and i made the first appt to be on 3rd Aug at 2pm. again, without fail, i did my research on the web and found that numerous mothers-to-be actually preferred male gynaes to female ones as they tend to be more attentive and sensitive in metting out opinions and conducting the ultrascans and such. forwarded some emails to veron to further reassure her to accept a male gynae.
